One wet afternoon in the Cotswolds I decided to visit Snowshill Manor and learn about the eccentric collector Charles Paget Wade. Over his lifetime this amazing man amassed a staggering 22000 items. The exhibits are displayed in the rooms of the manor in what can only be described as a bit of a jumble !! the variety and quantity has to be seen to be believed. After viewing the collection I strolled around the lovely garden as the sun had come out, the manor is now in the care of the National Trust who do an amazing job caring for the manor and its contents. Charles Wade was an architect, craftsman and a poet.
